How do I connect Adminer to my Vessl database?

Both services join the same project network. In Adminer, use the database service's container name as the host (vessl-svc-<id>) and the credentials from the database's env-var editor.

Is it safe to expose Adminer on a public domain?

Adminer requires login credentials per session — there is no anonymous access. For extra safety, use the Vessl access-restriction features (IP allowlist) or attach Vaultwarden / 1Password to keep credentials separate.

Can I use Adminer with a remote database?

Yes — Adminer connects to any reachable host. Use it against a Vessl database in the same project, or paste in a managed-DB host string for occasional admin work.
