Frequently asked questions

Do I need Prometheus too?

Not necessarily. Grafana can query many data sources directly, including PostgreSQL and MySQL. Add Prometheus (or Loki for logs) when you want a dedicated metrics backend.

Where are dashboards stored?

On a persistent volume using Grafana's embedded SQLite by default, so they survive redeploys. For large teams you can point Grafana at an external database via environment variables.

What are the login credentials?

Set the admin username and password in the deploy form. You'll be prompted to change the password on first login for security.
