Vessl is in private beta. We're onboarding the first 100 developers to shape the product before public launch. Beta access is fully free — when payments go live, founders lock pricing for as long as their subscription stays active.

We approve based on willingness to give active feedback, involvement in the Indonesian / SEA developer community, and workload fit for this phase (side projects, agency work, small production). Mission-critical enterprise workloads — we recommend waiting until public launch when the platform is stable.

FAQ

How long is the beta period?
Roughly 3 months. We'll email you 60 days before the transition so you have time to decide between upgrading to a paid tier (with founder's pricing) or downgrading to Free.
What is founder's pricing?
When the payment processor goes live, you'll receive a checkout link with locked pricing: Rp 79k/mo for Pro or Rp 29k/mo for Starter — locked for as long as your subscription stays active. We commit not to raise this pricing for at least 36 months.
What happens if I don't continue paying?
No penalty. Your account auto-downgrades to the Free tier with resource caps (1 server, 3 apps). Your data stays intact — you can upgrade anytime if you change your mind.
Do I need a USD credit card?
No. Vessl uses Midtrans + QRIS. You can pay via DANA, GoPay, ShopeePay, OVO, Touch'n Go, or an IDR credit card. Cross-border QRIS works for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
I'm from outside Indonesia / Malaysia — can I apply?
Yes. Pick "SEA" or "Other" for location. The approval criteria are the same — what matters is whether your workload fits the closed-beta phase.
Why apply — why not just open registration?
Vessl runs production workloads — bugs can affect your server. Closed beta keeps the blast radius small so we can fix issues quickly without getting overwhelmed. Once the foundations are solid, we'll open it up to everyone.
